Announcements

May 2009. The Deacon's have approved the expansion of our upper parking lot. The cost will be $15,000 - $20,000. The project will begin in June. People will be encouraged to cease parking on Rt. 126 once the parking lot is completed. The church is growing and the need for additional parking is great.

April 17 - 26, 2009. Five teens from our teen youth group will be traveling to Uruguay on a missions trip. They will be staying with the Carter's who are full time missionaries we support in Uruguay. The Church through your support has saved over $10,000, to go toward air fare, missions materials and construction materials. Each of the teens has worked hard in the last 1 1/2 years to earn and save over $800 each of their own money for the trip. The teens will be involved in evangelism outreach and helping with repairs to the Carter's church. Please keep this group in prayer as they try to reach people in one of the most atheistic countries on Earth.

June 2009. The Elders & Deacons Boards have agreed to take on monthly support for Abby Carter in Uruguay. She is the daughter of missionaries Jim & Debbie Carter. Her focus is reaching the children of Uruguay.

April 2009. The Elders and Deacons Boards have agreed to provide ongoing monthly missionary support to Jake Adams. Jake and his family will be going into the missions field through Village Missions. They will be serving in the United States. Jake is a former member of our church and we providing funding for him to attend the New Brunswick Bible Institute. Jake then served as an Associate Pastor at First Baptist in West Gardiner.

North America is rapidly becoming the most ignored mission field in the world. From small villages in the northeast to small farm towns scattered across the central plains to isolated logging communities out west. North America is the only continent where Christianity is not growing.
