SoulView is Grace Community Chapel’s Praise Team. They play contemporary praise & worship music, and traditional hymns, weekly. Guitars, drums, and bass - or sometimes just piano accompaniment - combined with beautiful vocals make our worship music an uplifting experience!
The goal of praise & worship is to invite God in, to focus on the Lord, and to prepare our hearts to hear from Him. This is the ministry that the members of SoulView are committed to.
Leading us in worship are: Brian Perkins: Vocals; Brenda Grant: Vocals; Lorene Larrabee: Vocals, Percussion; Dan Dodge: Drums, Vocals; Patrick Shepard: Guitar, Keyboard; Kent Nelson: Bass, Banjo; Chris Dodge: Percussion, Guitar.
From time to time, SoulView performs outside of G.C.C. They have brought their ministry to places like Greenbush, Winthrop, and Islesboro. Look for them out and about, as well as here on special occasions, bringing their testimony through music.
If you would like to be a guest singer/musician, would like to sing/play a special song during a service, or would like to submit a request/question/concern, please see a member of SoulView. You may also submit an e-mail at the link provided below.

6/29/09 - Our worship team bass player, Kent Nelson, has been deployed to Iraq for the next 6 months. He would appreciate it if he could hear from our church members during his deployment. He writes as follows:
Thanks to everyone for their support during my deployment overseas. Here is my mailing address if you would like to corrospond.
The best thing to send is "glimpses of home" (ie., letters, relevant newspaper clips, etc.) and of course your prayers. Perishable items are not needed, as we have everything we need in terms of food.
I really appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness to me and my family during this time.
