The goal of praise and worship time is to invite God in to our service, to focus on the Lord, and to prepare our hearts to hear from Him.  That’s what we strive to accomplish every Sunday as we gather to worship through music.  Our worship team is a full band that plays Contemporary Christian songs.

Leading us are:  Brian Perkins – vocals; Brenda Grant – vocals;

Lorene Larrabee – vocals; Dan Dodge – drums; Kent Nelson – bass, acoustic guitar; Patrick Shepard – guitars, keyboard; and Tony Bernarducci – guitars.

WORSHIP TEAM’S VISION & MISSION

We believe that all people are given their talents to glorify God, and we believe that He called us to lead the congregation of Grace Community Chapel in praise and worship during each worship service.

    It is our desire, goal, and responsibility to present the Gospel, to usher the congregation into the presence of God, and to assist in making a meaningful connection with Jesus Christ, through song and testimony.

  The worship team operates according to the Scriptural principal found in Ephesians 5:18b & 19.  We want to invite Him wherever we go and help others seek His presence in their lives, using the common language of music.

    We insist on excellence (Colossians 3:23).  We understand that we will miss the mark on occasion.  We understand that our mode of worship is not for everyone.  Only God can be all things to all people.  However, our ministry has a purpose and an eternal impact, and we are joyfully committed to giving our very best to our Lord and to our congregation (Psalm 33:3).

SOULVIEW

From time to time, the worship brings its ministry outside G.C.C. as SoulView.  They have played at a variety of venues throughout the state of Maine.  If you would like information about scheduling SoulView for a concert or event, please contact SoulView@GCChapel.com .
